Sobol’ indices. The Sobol’ index is a sensitivity metric that quantifies the contribution of each pre-impact parameter in determining the value of a given post-impact quantity. For all post-impact properties, the Sobol’ analysis indicates that the geometry of the impact is important in determining the outcome. Additionally, for parameters related to the post-impact rotation, the pre-impact rotational states of the target and projectile are also important
